Just two and a half miles from San Ignacio in western Belize, Cohune Palms is located in the village of Bullet Tree Falls at the base of the Maya Mountains.
Set apart from the village on a peninsula of the Mopan River, Cohune Palms is blessed with cool river breezes and a jungle setting. Our restaurant features local and international cuisine daily and has a wide variety of local beers and wines. Even better — we are conveniently located just 2 1/2 miles outside of San Ignacio with its shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
While resting in one of the hammocks, swimming, jumping off the rope swing, or watching iguanas is always tempting, most are here for the great many adventures waiting to be had in the area. Cohune Palms is an excellent base for the wide variety of tours and explorations in western Belize.
The Toucan Cabana
This cabana is named for Belize’s national bird, the beautiful toucan.
The Agouti Cabana
The Agouti cabana is named after the cutest little animal you will ever see at the resort. They are protected at our place and can be seen looking for food in the mornings.
